These reversibel entrance block provide versatility and security.

Used one way up they provide an effective barrier to mice; an essential tool in rural areas, especially as we approach winter.

used the other way up, they close off the hive entrance whilst still providing ventilation. Ideal for use when moving hives or when you need to lock the bees in for a short while.

These entrance blocks are lightweight and portable and will fit into most kit bags. They can also be left inside the roof of the hive when not in use so that they are always available when needed.

Manufactured in Hi-Viz orange ABS, they are durable with good UV resistance. The bright orange colour helps reduce the risk of losing them in the apiary.

The entrance blocks can be cleaned in warm, soapy water to maintain apiary hygiene. They should not be sterilised with bleaches, soda / caustic or acid cleaners.

Supplied individually, they measure 160mm long x 40mm tall x 2mm thick.

They are easily attached to the hive by pins or screws.

They will fit most of our commonly used wooden and poly hives.
