Evans Vanodine works with The Bee Centre to support bees and biodiversity across the North West.
The Bee Centre specialises in breeding native honeybees and getting them into the environment to enhance biodiversity and improve the pollination of essential, flowering plants and crops.
Honey production is not the focus of this activity. Indeed, the bees retain most of their honey and The Bee Centre only takes any genuine surplus which is produced whilst making space for colonies to expand their population.
By providing financial support for the management of several honeybee colonies, Evans Vanodine enables The Bee Centre to focus on adding environmental value rather than relying on revenue from removing too much honey; the fruits of the bees’ hard labours.
At Evans Vanodine we take our responsibilities seriously, which includes helping to fund essential biodiversity projects, like our collaboration with The Bee Centre.
The Evans Knight, which has represented the business through its many chapters since being established in 1919, has been a symbol of Evans Vanodine’s principle of fighting against, and protecting from, infection. From now on, the Evans Vanodine Knight will bear a new look.
As this has evolved, the Evans family have looked to promote this new design with positive involvement, not just on the labels and packaging. As biodiversity is one of the key areas, we can minimally address on our site, this collaboration seems a fitting place for the Evans Knight.
As the rebranding advances, changes will be made to our labels and support material. A hexagon shape will be a new addition to the brand, this is for the symbolisation of the chemical structure which sits at its heart and creates the Evans Vanodine core values, which focus on team environment; likened to a hive of bees, where all members of the team are united by common principles, attitudes, and goals.
The inclusion of the hexagon further links Evans Vanodine to this valuable project that we are proud to support.
